Two teenagers struck by car in Brentwood

Police are appealing for information after two teenagers were struck by a car in Brentwood.

The incident occurred in Eastham Crescent at around 10.50pm on Saturday evening.

Two victims, both 18-years-old, reported being struck by a Vauxhall Insignia.

Two men then got out of the car and assaulted one of the men, who was hit in the head and suffered stab wounds to his leg.

His injuries were not life changing or life threatening.

The other victim was unhurt.

A Vauxhall Insignia which was later found burnt out in Kelvedon Hatch is being treated as linked. 

A spokesperson from Essex Police said: “We’re continuing our enquiries to identify the suspects and anyone with information is asked to contact us.

“We’re also keen to speak to anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage that may have captured the incident or the car.”
