Emergency services were called to the A13, after reports of the crash involving two vehicles at around 10pm last night (Sunday, 14 March).
Three people were taken to a major trauma centre, two of whom were seriously injured.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent three ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
“We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, which consisted of a paramedic and doctor in a car.
“The first medic arrived at the scene in less than three minutes.
“We treated three patients at the scene, two of whom were seriously injured. All three were taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The occupants of the second vehicle are believed to have left the scene before officers arrived.
Enquiries to locate them are ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
