Appeal after teenager sexually assaulted in Wanstead Flats

Redbridge Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was sexually assaulted in Wanstead Flats.

The teenage girl was attacked in broad daylight, on Sunday, 12 September at around 3pm, as she sat in a green space near Blake Hall Road.

Police have described the suspect as an Asian or light skinned black male, of muscular build with medium length black hair.

The suspect also spoke with a London accent and wore grey joggers, green trainers and carried a brown fabric satchel.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen the suspect with the victim, or has information concerning the identity of the suspect should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting CAD1769/15Sep.
