Police were called at 10.11pm on Saturday, 11 November to reports of a stabbing in a vehicle at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Grangewood Street.
A man, aged in his 20s, was found with stab wounds but despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
Enquiries are under way to trace and inform his family. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
A man, aged in his 40s, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The Met Police said: “A man, aged in his 40s, has been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 7287/11Nov.
“To remain anonymous, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
