Death of toddler in Dagenham not thought to be suspicious

Detectives are still investigating the death 

Police have confirmed the death of a two-year-old girl in Dagenham is not thought to be suspicious.

The toddler was found unresponsive in a garden in Reede Road shortly after being reported missing on Saturday, 29 January.

She was rushed to an east London hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination was conducted at St Thomas Hospital on Thursday, 3 February.

Detectives are waiting for the outcome of additional tests and the death is still being treated as unexplained.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
