Two arrested after 12-year-old boy stabbed in Plaistow

Two men have been arrested after a 12-year-old boy was stabbed in Plaistow. 

The victim was knifed in Brook’s Road at around 8.15pm on Tuesday, 30 August. 

Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

Police arrested one man, aged in his 30s, on suspicion of GBH. Another man, aged in his 60s, was detained for affray. 

Detectives are investigating what happened and a crime scene remains in place.
