Emergency services were called at around 9.40pm yesterday (Tuesday, 12 December) to initial reports of an assault in Gooshays Drive where a 17-year-old girl was found with injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital where she remains. Her condition has now been assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made.
The Metropolitan Police have today (Wednesday, 13 December) released this update: “Officers have spoken with the victim and enquiries into the circumstances of the incident have taken place. However, no allegation of assault has been made at this time.
“Should this change, officers will investigate.”
