A man’s been charged with raping a woman in Stratford
The victim, aged in her 30s, reported to police on Thursday, 11 January, that she had been raped by a man in Stratford earlier that day.
On Friday, 12 January, Dancho Danchev, was charged with rape, actual bodily harm and possession of a class B drug.
The 39-year-old first appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13 January.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, 9 February.
Officers say they’re continuing to support the woman while enquiries continue.
