Officers have been carrying out extra patrols in the area recently due to disorder around the nearby Havering College, with police saying there have been several fights both inside and outside the college.
The Met has imposed dispersal orders, meaning police can direct people to leave an area for up to 48 hours, twice since students returned in September.
In a statement to the Romford Recorder, Havering College Principal Paul Wakeling said the college takes “students’ safety incredibly seriously.”
