Man charged in connection with stabbing in Dagenham

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Dagenham. 

Olukunle Afolabi, 32, of Bow, is accused of wounding with intent, threatening a person with a blade in a public place and possession of class B drugs. 

It is after a 37-year-old man was found suffering from stab injuries in Haydon Road on Sunday, 9 January. 

He was rushed to hospital and his injuries are no longer believed to be life-threatening. 

Afolabi is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today.
