Joe Nichols and James Brand dragged the victim outside The Royal Oak, in Longbridge Road, and started beating him in November 2019.
CCTV footage showed both men repeatedly stamped on the victim’s head and torso.
Police were called to the scene and took him to hospital where it was established he had a bleed on the brain.
The victim insisted that he had fallen. He died in hospital a month later.
Nichols was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for causing grievous bodily harm with intent and one year for perverting the course of justice at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Brand was also jailed for 14 years for causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police have not named the victim.
