A wheelchair user has been injured following an incident in Romford.
Emergency services were called to South Street just before 12pm today to reports of a collision.
The female wheelchair user has been taken to hospital and her injuries are not life-threatening.
A bus stop at the junction of South Street and Victoria Road had been taped off by police.
The bus was stationary in the middle of the cordon with a “not in service” sign.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:”It was initially reported the female was in collision with a bus but further enquiries established this was not the case. No vehicles were involved.
“The roads re-opened at about 1.40pm.”
