Emergency services were called to a 20-year-old man suffering from a stab wound on Marlands Road at 3.54pm on Thursday, 11 March.
The victim was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital.
His injuries are not life threatening.
The child was arrested and kept in custody at an east London police station.
He is due at Barkingside Youth Court today on charges of robbery and possession of a bladed article.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.56pm on 11 March to reports a person injured on Marlands Road, Ilford.
“We sent an ambulance crew, two medics in cars, and an incident response officer.
“A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
