Heavy rain and lightning has caused lots of damage across east London and Essex.

A house in Romford was struck by lightning on Saturday evening.

Last night in Collier Row, two maisonettes were damaged by a blaze too.

Roads have been flooded and there is a lot of traffic on the A12, the A406, the M11 and parts of the M25.
