A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a double stabbing in Barking this evening.
Two men were stabbed at a business premises in London Road at around 6.30pm, with one of them, in his 30s, in a critical condition.
The second man, believed to be in his 20s was treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Police believe were stabbed in a nearby alleyway.
A man and a woman have been arrested.
The man on suspicion of attempted murder and the woman arrested for aiding and abetting an offender.
They are both in custody at an east London police station.
A crime scene remains in place.
