Romford man raises £140 for veterans with his artwork from old Coke cans

A Romford man has raised £140 for the Royal British Legion by auctioning off artwork made from old Diet Coke cans.

Geoff Moss makes the remembrance artwork in the evenings, spending around 40 hours on one piece.

Each one features individually hand-painted poppies cut from old Diet Coke cans held together with used copper wire.

They sold at auction at the Royal British Legion in Collier Row on Sunday 11 November.

Geoff told Time 107.5: “I wanted to do something to give back to those who gave so much to us.”
