Time 107.5 looking for disadvantaged children for extra eggs following unprecedented year

Time 107.5 is looking for disadvantaged families after receiving an unprecedented number of Easter eggs this year.

The “Be A Good Egg” campaign runs every year with the likes of Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund and Product of a Postcode some of the charities getting some of the chocolate treats.

Listeners have been particularly giving this year with over 2,000 eggs donated in total so far.

We now have around 100 eggs without a home and we’re concerned that Tom Lane from the news team might eat them.

Station Manager Lorna Waters said: “We cannot believe the number of eggs we have received this year.

“The listeners’ generosity continues to amaze me and we can’t thank them enough for all of the donations.

“My only concern is that Tom eats the eggs we have left over, so please get in touch on our ‘Contact Us’ page if you know anyone that might benefit this Easter!”
