A woman has suffered injuries to her scalp and face after a racially-motivated attack on the Central Line.
The 24-year-old was talking to her friends in Spanish in the early hours of Saturday, 7 April when two women started shouting at her and saying she should speak English in England.
They then grabbed her hair and pulled her around by her hair.
The train was travelling between Liverpool Street and Stratford at the time of the attack.
Officers are currently making a number of enquiries, including looking at CCTV from the stations and would like to speak to any witnesses from the night.
