Boy receives head injury in Dagenham machete attack

His injuries are not life-threatening

A teenager has been taken to hospital after being attacked with a machete in Dagenham.

The 17-year-old boy received a laceration to his head in Church Elm Lane at around 8.40pm this evening.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance, but police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made but officers have launched an investigation.
