Two vehicles were involved in the collision, shortly after 2am this morning, in Warley Road.
The casualties were released by emergency services around 2.45am.
A man and a woman inside one of the vehicles sustained injuries.
The man has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an East Anglian Air Ambulance response car attended a road traffic accident on Warley Road in Great Warley shortly after 2am this morning (Monday 03 August).
“One patient was transported to the major trauma centre at The Royal London Hospital, while the other was conveyed to a local hospital.”

Later on this morning, a second crash occurred on the same road when a motorcyclist struck a dear which ran into the road.
