Last year thousands of presents were donated to under-privileged children
We are asking our listeners to donate toys and presents for under-privileged children across Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge.
All of the gifts will be given to those in need via charities such as Women’s Aid, Salvation Army and Peabody Trust.
People can donate presents at our studio in the Liberty shopping centre, Romford, or they can leave them with our partners GBP Estates in Victoria Road, Romford.
They can also make an online donation on our Go Fund Me page, which is being run by Romford BID.
All of the money raised will be used to buy toys from local shops. Many of them have generously agreed to give us a discount so we can purchase all the gifts we need.
Romford BID have also pledged to match some of the money that is donated.
Mark Dover, station manager at Time 107.5FM, said: “We are thrilled to be launching our annual Give a Child a Christmas campaign once again.
“Every year we are amazed by the generosity of our listeners who help us support thousands of under-privileged children in our area.
“As always we are grateful for any money you can spare. Every donation helps put a smile on a child’s face at Christmas.
“I’d also like to thank our partners GBP Estates and Romford BID whose continuous support makes this campaign possible.”
All of the presents will have been delivered by Wednesday, 21 December.
