The dog’s owner attended a police station in Havering last week to report that her Jack Russell had been taken from the front of the property in North Road at around 7.30pm on Saturday, 18 November.
No arrests have been made so far.
Police have released video footage of the incident.

In a statement, Havering Police said: “At 19:00hrs on Monday, 20 November, a woman in her 40s attended a police station in Havering to report that her dog (a Jack Russell with tanned spots) had been stolen from her driveway in North Road, at around 7.30pm on 18 November.
“The case has been assigned to an investigating officer and the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team have been informed.
“While police sympathise completely with the victim, officers do have to prioritise investigations into violent or sexual offences.”
