I’ve had a very up and down week so far. (Who knew hiring an automatic car would be so difficult amongst other things stressing me out this week!!)
Whilst feeling particularly wound up and tense it can be difficult to feel positive. HOWEVER, thanks to the Breakfast team Wednesday morning, the serious lack of sleep or answers to the current dilemma this week did nothing to harm the enjoyment of the show. Tom and Neil never fail to make me laugh and with the amazing listeners we have joining in on the gags it just sets you up for a fantastic day!
I’ve also been doing a Headspace Improv course in Southend, if you get the chance you’ve GOT to see some Improv comedy, the sketches I’ve seen this week have been immense, and it gives you a chance to realise that you can take these skills into your professional and home life as well.
It gives you the chance to let go of expectations, recognise that every idea is valid, it’s about supporting those around you so you all work better as team and banishing those self-doubts so you can continue with your day in a more positive manner. And working with such supportive people each morning really helps!
Not only that But I went to see BOOK OF MORMON In London on Tuesday, it’s written by the creators of ‘South Park” with lyrics from the man behind the songs of ”Avenue Q” at points it’s pretty close to the mark a sometimes, but I did laugh and sit open mouthed at some of the outrageous scenes. Overall the musical was about spreading love and finding your own path to happiness.
Which I couldn’t agree with more! So, see the show, join an improv class or listen to the Breakfast show every week day from 6am and help spread the positivity around!
(Oh and vote for me and the team to have their own star on the Essex Walk of Fame -hopefully coming to Romford soon! http://www.theenquirer.co.uk/romford-glamour-fame-enquirer-exclusive…)
