The vehicles were found by police yesterday
Police carried out a dawn raid on Monday, 14 October at a so-called “chop shop” in Epping Road.
Writing yesterday on the Essex Police – Epping Forest Facebook page, officers said: “After gathering intelligence locally and a little planning our Epping Forest community police team combined forces with our Epping Forest town centre team and struck in North Weald at dawn today.
“Multiple stolen vehicles recovered and one male arrested.”
They thanked residents, adding: “The intelligence that you supply to us is vital for these operations.”
Today, police have confirmed they have identified the remains of 12 vehicles which were all stolen.
