Last year Remembrance services were unable to go ahead due to COVID-19 restrictions.
This year there will be services on Armistice Day and there will also be a number of events throughout the borough on Remembrance Sunday.
Councillor John Mylod, Mayor of Havering, said: “Following last year’s coronavirus restrictions, it is pleasing to be able to come together and mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday again in Havering.
“It gives the borough a chance to remember our servicemen and women, who gave so much in order to keep us safe.
“We should all be proud to stand as a community to mark this significant occasion each November which highlights the sacrifices our Armed Forces have and continue to make.”
A service will be held in Market Place, Romford, to mark Armistice Day at around 10.45am on Thursday, 11 November.
The Royal British Legion Hornchurch will also be holding a service at 10.50am at the War Graves behind St Andrews Church.
