Prime Minister Boris Johnson led the national ‘Clap for Tom’ yesterday, in memory of the 100 year-old fundraiser who died this week after testing positive for coronavirus.
The ‘Spirit of Adventure’ and ‘Spirit of Discovery’ SAGA vessels are currently berthed at the Thurrock port.
The crew lit up the side of the ships with messages of support to thank the veteran for his service.
