Man who died in Ongar collision named as 22-year-old from Romford

The family of a man from Romford who died in a collision in Ongar earlier this month say they are “devastated by the loss.”

Jordan Plaister died after a tanker lorry collided with his Ford KA in Romford Road on Thusday, 6 September.

The 22-year-old’s family said: “We are devastated by the loss of our son and ask that people respect our wishes for privacy at this difficult time.”

Police are continuing to appeal for information.

Anyone with information, or available dash cam footage, is asked to call 101 and ask for the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. The incident number to quote is 664 of 06/09.
