The family of a man who died on the M11 have paid tribute to their “beloved son.”
Reece Gnazalo’s vehicle was struck by another car on the M11 near Harlow on Friday.
The 22-year-old, from Kent, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were contacted on Friday night with reports a grey BMW 318 Sport had lost control and collided with the central barrier of the motorway at junction seven.
Two people who were in the vehicle then made their way across the carriageway.
Reece’s family has now released the following in tribute to him:
“Reece was our beloved son whom was loved by all that met him. His beautiful smile and fantastic sense of humour will warm our hearts forever.
“[He] was the kindest person you would ever hope to meet. This news of his death is shocking to everyone that knows him. He will be greatly missed by all. Rest on Reece.”
Specialist officers are investigating the manner of driving of the BMW prior to the collision and are asking anyone who saw it driving along the M11 that evening or who witnessed either collision to speak to them.
Anyone with information should call investigators at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
