Boy, 16, dies after collision in Dagenham

A teenager has died following a serious crash in Dagenham. 

A car and a moped collided with each other in Gale Street at around 1.35pm on Sunday, 18 September. 

The rider of the moped, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital where he died later that day. 

“The boy’s family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers,” said a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police. 

“The driver of the car stopped at the scene. There has been no arrest.”
