Police were called to reports that a group of teenage girls had stolen items and damaged the door of a shop in Manford Way at 6.10pm on Friday, 8 September.
Two of the girls were armed with knives and also threatened the shop worker.
The girls made off prior to police arrival.
A knife was recovered close to the scene.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
