Ilford Town Hall is going to be shining pink this week mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Baby Loss has contacted organisations across the country to ask them to light up their buildings to mark the awareness week, which is in its 16th year.
Redbridge Council Chief Executive Andy Donald said: “We hope that by turning the Town Hall pink and blue we can start a conversation locally about the issues surrounding baby loss and give bereaved parents and families an opportunity to talk about their precious babies.
“We know that baby loss affects many Redbridge families each year and this is not just about raising awareness but also acts as a mark of respect.”
