Detectives release images in appeal for information following rape at Barking station

Do you recognise this man?

Police have released images of a man they believe may have vital information regarding a rape in the toilets at Barking station.

Officers were called to the incident on Saturday, 7 March.

It is believed to have taken place between 5.10pm and 5.30pm in the men’s toilets.

The victim, a man in his 20s, is continuing to be supported by specially trained officers.

The second image released by detectives.

Detective Inspector Jeremy Banks said: “We’ve been conducting extensive enquiries into the incident, and we believe that the man in the CCTV image could have vital information which would assist our investigation.

“If you recognise him, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“Likewise, if you were in the men’s toilets around around this time, or noticed anything unusual at the station, please do let us know.
