Appeal to identify man after £1000 of alcohol stolen from shops in Havering

Police have released an image of a man who they would like to identify after nearly £1000 worth of alcohol was stolen from two shops in Havering.

A person stole £484 worth from a store at Gallows Corner on Tuesday, 10 November. The following day, £497 of alcohol was taken from another retailer in Hornchurch Road.

Detective Constable Chloe Pudney said: “This was a shameless shoplifting spree and we will be pursuing all avenues to track down the person responsible.

“I’m interested in speaking with the man pictured in this image in relation to these incidents, and to anyone who may have information that could help progress this investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the man pictured above is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 3133/11DEC20.
